Mark A. Willard, M.D.

Dr. Mark Allen Willard is a seasoned physician with a wealth of experience in internal medicine, specializing in geriatrics, perioperative medicine, and hospitalist medicine. Since October 2001, Dr. Willard has been an esteemed member of General Medical Consultants Inc., where he has made significant contributions to patient care and clinical excellence. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Patient Assessment and Transition (PAT) at Grady Memorial Hospital, and Dublin Methodist Hospital.

Dr. Willard’s journey in medicine began with his education at Evanston Northwestern University, where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine from June 1998 to June 2001. Prior to his residency, he earned his Medical Degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in September 1994. Dr. Willard’s commitment to academic excellence is reflected in his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University, which he completed in May 1994.

Dr. Willard’s professional interests span across general internal medicine, geriatric medicine, perioperative medicine, and hospitalist medicine.
