David A. Colella, DO

Dr. David Colella brings extensive experience and expertise in Internal Medicine to General Medical Consultants, Inc., where he serves as an Internal Medicine Physician specializing in both inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on Perioperative Medicine. Since joining the team in June 2022, Dr. Colella has been dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate medical care to his patients.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Colella served as an Independent Contractor for Team Health, where he worked as a Hospitalist at Memorial Hospital of Union County and Morrow County Hospital. During his tenure from August 2012 to December 2021, he demonstrated exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Dr. Colella’s educational background includes an Internal Medicine Residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital, where he received rigorous training and hands-on experience in various aspects of internal medicine. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at The Ohio State University.
